About AISES 365
It is no secret that the executive orders coming out of Washington, D.C. since early 2025 have placed an unbelievable strain on nonprofits, Indian Country, and in particular, AISES.
Significant program cuts and the withdrawal of federal funding have dealt a serious blow to our budget — one that has forced us to make painful decisions about how we deliver the valuable programming that supports Indigenous students and their communities. Student services have been significantly affected, and the consequences are real: reduced scholarship support at a time when costs are rising, and fewer career opportunities as the number of partners able to engage with us has shrunk.
Rising fuel prices, a tighter job market, concerns over climate change, and other pressing issues are causing more strain on the people we serve than ever before.
The AISES board and staff are doing everything in our power to continue to deliver student support services in addition to scholarships for Indigenous STEM students, but we are facing a significant shortfall in funding versus need.

AISES Fundraising Material Truthfulness Policy: AISES will promote voluntary, non coerced giving, and use accurate, truthful solicitation and promotional materials. We will honor all statements made by the organization in its fundraising appeals and in the use of any contributions. AISES will honor the known intentions of donors regarding the use of contributed funds. All AISES staff are mindful of their spending on administrative overhead costs.
